“CHEMISTRY BRIDGING INNOVATION AMONG THE AMERICAS AND THE WORLD”
The Colegio de Quimicos de Puerto Rico (PR Chemists Association) and the Organizing Committee of the IUPAC 2011 International Congress (IUPAC, International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) to take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Have the responsibility to organize and celebrate the greatest scientific event that ever takes place on our island.
During the congress we will also celebrate the year 2011 as the International Year of Chemistry as per resolution of the UN (United Nations) for the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first female Nobel Laureate in Chemistry given to Madame Curie on 1911. The IUPAC 2011 Organizing Committee already has the confirmed participation of five (6) Nobel Laureates in Chemistry.
